Mental health and wellbeing have never been more important.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's 2021 survey on wellbeing at work found that stress continues to be one of the main causes of short- and long-term absence. Overall, nearly four-fifths (79%) of their respondents reported some stress-related absence over the last year.
The Covid-19 pandemic has further amplified these issues. Data analysis by Mind has revealed that more people have experienced a mental health crisis during the coronavirus pandemic than ever previously recorded.
Workplaces are now more aware than ever of the challenges to mental health and wellbeing, but that doesn't mean they know how to reduce and manage these challenges.
"While 84% of organisations have increased their focus on mental health in response to the pandemic just 54% believe they have been effective at identifying and managing the mental health risks arising from COVID-19" (CIPD Survey, 2021).
So what now?
What if you were able to offer your employees support for their mental health and wellbeing without having to do loads of extra leg work?
I provide done-for-you workshops on a range of topics to suit your organisation's and employee's current needs. They typically last for 60-90 minutes.
How to look after your wellbeing
Managing stress and anxiety
Effective communication and assertiveness
I can create bespoke workshops if you have a specific topic or area in mind. If you're looking for individual support for your employees I can also provide coaching sessions, either as a one-off or an ongoing basis.
Workshops and coaching sessions are run by me - Meg Sloan
I'm a Self Worth Coach and qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. I've supported hundreds of people to manage their mental health in a way that works for them.
I'm passionate about supporting individuals to cultivate the self-awareness they need to develop resilience, balance and confidence.
One of my key values is simplicity. We all know that self-care often comes at the bottom of the to-do list. I'm here to show you that looking after your needs doesn't have to be complicated to be effective.
Meg facilitated a wellbeing session to 35 employees for the Prince’s Trust National Operations Team.
Her enthusiasm, passion and ability to positively project her experience was exceptionally received well and we were left inspired! Often times we forget the simplest hacks to understand what we can do within our control and prioritise our mental health, however Meg provided us with effective tools to manage ourselves when overwhelmed or not in control.
We particularly enjoyed the breakout sessions where our staff could openly speak in small groups and gain perspective, and appreciation, from each other.
We would 100% recommend Meg for the brilliant work she does!
